Battle Rotary's Scarecrow.  In July all organisations in Battle were asked to make a scarecrow and display it in the High Street.  After the competition was over, our scarecrow had his Scottish attire removed and a more workmanlike attire put on him for his new job of scaring birds on Marian's allotment.  Unfortunately he met his demise when vandals destroyed him.
