Past President AnnKingdon with incoming President Jenny Streat |
| In July Jenny became our President of Battle Club. Jenny is a relatively new member to our club having transferred from Rye and Winchelsea Club two years ago and has been our Overseas Service Organiser. This is Jenny's fourth time as President (Bicester once, Rye twice). Jenny feels as if she has been pushed in at the deep end (and is not a good swimmer!), but will do her best. We shall have a good year under Jenny's leadership and she will have our full support. Jenny trained as a teacher, travelled widely and has done a variety of jobs, mostly in different aspects of teaching and lecturing on education. Her interests are travel, the arts and entertaining friends. At the handover meeting we were also very pleased to welcome Cath who has transferred from Eastbourne Club.. |
